DAVID MIDELL - DIRECTOR [INTERVIEW]David Midell is a filmmaker, special educator, and disability advocate from Northbrook, Illinois. During his years as an educator, he has been inspired by individuals with special needs and witnessed the incredible strength of their families. He created Play On Productions to tell the world these stories. Having directed the short film, "By Any Other Name" in 2010, "NightLights" is his feature directorial debut.

NICK IZZO - WRITER [INTERVIEW]Nick is a veteran actor and playwright of Chicago's vibrant storefront theater scene. Nick previously partnered with David Midell on Dave's first film, "By Any Other Name," starring Peter ten Brink and Kate Black Spence, both of whom reunite on 'NightLights." Nick is highly regarded for his attention to detail, thorough research, and steadfast approach to his craft.

ADAM DICK - WRITER/PRODUCER [INTERVIEW]Adam Dick is an educator, filmmaker and playwright based out of Chicago, Illinois. With a lifelong passion for film and storytelling, Adam spent his formative years in the theater and has since worked in a variety of capacities for both documentary and narrative productions. DON ALBERT - CO-PRODUCERDon has worked in Video & Film production for over 25 years. He began his career at a local TV station in Chicago as an Editor & camera operator after graduating from Columbia College Chicago. Don has worked as a CO-Producer on several independent features including: “Dog Jack” A civil war film Narrated by Louis Gossett Jr. (available via REDBOX); and “Fancypants” a family film now on VOD, with Robert Carradine, Roddy Piper and Richard Kind. He's presently with Fox Big Ten. He is also a part time adjunct Producing Instructor at Columbia College. |
EDWARD J. EBERWINE III - CO-PRODUCEREdward J. Eberwine III is a filmmaker & photographer working in Philadelphia, New York and Chicago. He has also managed locations for bigger films and TV such as "Limitless," "Transformers 3" and "The Playboy Club." In 2009 Edward produced the feature film, "Cost of a Soul," which opened nationwide in AMC theaters and is now available on On Demand, iTunes, Netflix and soon to be released on DVD.

MIKE MOLENDA - ASSOCIATE EDITORMike is a freelance film editor and lighting technician in Chicago, and has worked on film and video projects ranging from commercial and industrial videos, to educational videos, to web content, to feature films, in Chicago and across the Midwest. In addition, he works as lead editor and post-production supervisor for the Chicago-based indie film company, Glass City Films, and as a multimedia project specialist at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.

Brenda Arelano has over 20 years of experience in hair and makeup. Having owned her own Merle Norman Cosmetic Studio and Boutique, Brenda excels in all facets of image enhancement. Using her skills in makeup and hair styling, she has worked with virtually every major television station in the Chicagoland area, including WMAQ (NBC5), WLS (ABC7), WBBM (CBS2). She has been the on set makeup artist for countless news programs and film productions. She has also worked with many local and national celebrities, including Chicago's Mayor Richard J. Daley, Elliot Gould, Barry Manilow, Alicia Keys, Martha Stewart, and Teri Hatcher, just to name a few. |

BOB SLIGA - COLORISTBob has been a professional colorist for over 30 years. He was the lead QA for Apple Color in Cupertino, CA.
